The Event Seaspn 1 episode 15

OMG! They pulled all the stops out last night and gave us all one heck of an episode. I was literally on the edge of my seat last night watching this tension filled episode and IMHO, the best one so far.

I was gasping out loud when the Washington Monument came crashing down and killing so many innocent people. I didn’t think Sophia would do it but she did. President Martinez was trying to play hard ball and it backfired on him. Then he orders those buses to be blown up!!!! I was like WTF! I got a little teary seeing Sofia and her people on those buses and Thomas knew what was going to happen yet like a dedicated solider he held his head up high, glanced at his mother and was gone. Sofia and her bus load of people went into that cloud and then disappeared. I cannot believe that Thomas is dead. I must say this that in the 11th hour, he came to his senses and sided with his mother and not that skanky girlfriend of his who I wanted to strangle. I can’t remember if Michael and Leila were on one of the buses that got blown up. I like Michael and I hope not. Leila is okay and I wouldn’t miss that character too much.

So now Blake and the President know that Simon is one of them. I just hope they don’t kill Simon because I like him. Simon has got to watch his back. You know that Sophia will be out for blood now and I can’t say that I blame her. She was always telling The President the truth although he thought she was lying.

And then we have Sean and that woman who are looking for Dempsey. Dempsey found something last night in that cave and I am not sure what that is all about. It has to do with the fact that the aliens were here thousands of years ago I think.

Loved this episode and I like the direction this series is now moving towards.
