NCIS--Michael Weatherly To Guest Star On The Closer Spinoff

This is great news.  I am very excited to see that Michael Weatherly aka Tony Dinozzo will do a guest spot on The Closer spinoff "Major Crimes".  Here is the article from TV Fanatic.

Michael Weatherly to Guest Star on Major Crimes

TNT's forthcoming Major Crimes has landed a major guest star in NCIS' Michael Weatherly.
In an early, Season 1 episode of The Closer spinoff, Weatherly will play Arthur “Thorn” Woodson, a charming con artist working as an ”intuitive life strategist” for a group of Israeli mob wives (all of whom he is bedding).
Described as a “Peter Pan with an A.D.D. problem,” Thorn previously worked as a hand model, a ventriloquist and a blackjack dealer. His dream is to someday land his own show on Oprah's fledgling cable network OWN.

“Arvin Brown is directing [the episode] - he’s done many NCIS episodes,” Weatherly tweeted.
Major Crimes, which was officially announced at this month's TNT Upfront presentation, premieres Monday, August 13 at 10 p.m., immediately after The Closer finale.
Weatherly, meanwhile, is in the midst of negotiating a contract extension with his main employer. His current deal, along with those of co-stars Sean Murray and Pauley Perette, expired at the end of NCIS Season 9.

American Idol Season 11 Finale--An OMG Moment

It was a star studded event but the moment that brought the house down was when 16 year old finalist Jessica Sanchez sang a duet with original Dream Girl, Jennifer Holiday.  It brought the judges and the entire audience their feet.

I cannot believe the talent of this 16 year old and she proved last night why she made it to the finals.  But Phillip Phillips won and that was because he had the votes of all the teenagers in this country.  Phillip is an amazing young man and is very humble and one who stays true to himself.  But as far as who is more talented, it's Jessica Sanchez.  Jessica is going to have an amazing career ahead of her and that you can take to the bank.

Here is the video of Jessica and Jennifer Holiday from last night's season 11 finale.

A Remake Of The Great Gatsby

I hate when Hollywood does these remakes and in this case, I have been rolling my eyes since I saw this trailer today.

Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor but no way can he attempt to fill Robert Redford's shoes.  Robert Redford starred in the leading role of this film with Mia Farrow playing Daisy.  It was dark, romantic and not the action packed movie as this remake seems to be.  Judge for yourselves in these 2 clips of the original and the last one from the new movie.

Three New ABC Series This Fall That Has Me Jumping

These 3 new series look very good.

The first one is 666 Park Ave.  This one made my hair stand up.

Second one is Zero Hour which by far has me intrigued.

And the last one Last Resort.

NCIS LA--Seasn 3 Finale Promo

Here is another series that we have be warned that a death will occur.  Who it will be, I have no idea.  But I am sure that this episode is going to have many surprises, if not shocks.

NCIS Season Finale Sneak Peek

Just from seeing this clip and a few others, this season finale looks like it is going to be fantastic.

Jimmy Palmer is to get married, fingers crossed that nothing will spoil this, and I am waiting to see just what Abby has up her sleeve for the bachelor party.  Aside from that it is going to be an on the edge of your seat season finale.

Castle Season 4 Finale

OMG, finally!  What an ending to the season 4 finale.  That kiss was something else and it is something that many of us Castle fans have been waiting for and our patience was rewarded last night.

How long will their bliss last?  I have no clue but I am going to enjoy it while it does. Of course they just had to show that conversation with those two men after the kiss scene talking about killing Kate.  Somebody just had to pee on my cornflakes!

Well in the famous words of Scrlet O'Hara from "Gone With The Wind"--"Fiddle dee dee, I'll think about that tomorrow".

Here are the screen caps I made from that wonderful kiss scene.
