Private Practice--Blind Love

This was an emotional and intense episode and a turning point for Charlotte and Addison.

First off Charlotte--The man who raped her was brought into the ER with a knife sticking out of his chest (poetic justice if you ask me) and the doctors have got to try and save him.  Sam who is the lead doctor on the case want him to die as does Charlotte before their better judgments take hold.  Of course Cooper wants him dead and he doesn't care about any moral obligations of being a doctor.  You gotta love Cooper!

Charlotte does walk up to him while he is laying there in the hospital bed with a knife sticking out of his chest and tells him she wants her face to be the last he ever sees.  He survives the surgery only to wake up and find that he is handcuffed to the bed.  They all can put this horrific chapter in Charlotte's life behind them.

Addison--Susan is dying and it is only in the hospital room that Bizzy finally learns that Susan had a DNR order in place.  Susan dies leaving Bizzy devastated.  Addison goes to her mother's hotel room and makes peace with her finally.  I should have seen what was coming next but I was floored when Addison returned a few hours later to find that her mother had committed suicide.  What a sad ending to this chapter in Addison's life.

A very sad and emotional episode as only Shonda Rhimes and company can pull off.
